CANBUS System have one line for communication. Traditional system have got one line for sending and one line for receiving information. A CAN Blocker disturb the electronic synchronisation for the mileage betwen dash and ignition lock of Mercedes Benz system.
Here are show two different kinds of CAN Filter systems. One is for new S-class W221 and the other one is for the modell W169/W171 (new A-class/B-class and new MB SLK). The CAN-Filter suspends the communication between the ignition lock (EZS) and the speedometer. So the mileage is not passed through.
The mileage is still going forward in the dash with CAN Blocker / CAN Filter in a normal way further.
